The Elan Primetime 22 Blue is a sport short-turn piste ski designed for men, complete with Elan Protector 10 GW Shift bindings. It’s aimed at skiers who enjoy carving quick, controlled turns on groomed slopes and appreciate having bindings already mounted and adjusted to the ski.
With a sidecut of 127/73/111 mm at 165 cm and a turn radius of 12.2 m, this ski strikes a balance between stability at speed and nimble responsiveness. The narrow 73 mm waist lets you initiate edge-to-edge transitions without delay, while the wider tip and tail provide support through the arc of each turn. Having the Protector 10 GW Shift binding included means you can step into reliable retention and release settings without hunting for a separate mounting package.
Turn radius refers to the size of the arc the ski naturally wants to follow: a 12.2 m radius encourages shorter, sharper turns rather than long, sweeping curves. The sidecut dimensions––tip, waist and tail widths––work together to control how the ski grips the snow: a pronounced hourglass shape amplifies the ski’s ability to carve precise lines on firm, packed surfaces.
