The Dynastar Speed Master SL is a race ski built for skiers who want to carve short, precise turns on groomed slopes. Coming from Dynastar’s Speed Master line, it’s aimed at racers or advanced skiers focused on quick edge-to-edge performance in a short-turn environment.
Measuring 168 cm with a 13 m radius, the Speed Master SL snaps into tight arcs and responds instantly to your body movements. Its 122/68/104 sidecut enhances this responsiveness by narrowing the waist for fast transitions while preserving stability at the tip and tail. At 1 750 g per ski, it balances liveliness underfoot with enough mass to hold a firm carve, and the Look SPX 14 Konect GW bindings ensure a solid connection and reliable release when you push your limits.
The 13 m radius describes the arc the ski naturally follows when tilted on edge—a smaller radius means tighter turns. The figures 122/68/104 refer to the ski’s width in millimetres at the tip, waist and tail, respectively; this shape determines how the ski enters, holds and exits a turn, giving you that sharp, controlled carving feel.
