The Elan Ace SLX is a race ski built for skiers who favour quick, short turns on groomed slopes. As part of Elan’s Skis Heren race lineup, it brings a focused design that helps you carve with precision in tighter arcs.
With a 12.8 m radius at 164 cm, the Ace SLX responds swiftly from edge to edge, making it easier to link successive short turns. Its sidecut dimensions of 121 / 68 / 104 mm provide a narrow waist for fast edge transitions, while the integrated Elan EMX 12.0 GW Fusion X binding ensures solid power transfer and reliable release when you need it.
The radius refers to the size of the curve the ski naturally wants to carve—a smaller number means a tighter arc—so at 12.8 m this ski is tuned for more compact turns. The sidecut measurements (tip, waist, tail) shape how the ski grips and pivots: a slimmer centre section lets you pivot quickly, while the wider tip and tail help with stability. The EMX 12.0 GW Fusion X binding accommodates GripWalk boot soles and offers an adjustable release setting up to DIN 12, balancing retention and safety.
