Description
The Elan Bloodline is a men’s FIS-spec ski built for on-piste racers aiming to carve precise turns at speed. As a competition-oriented ski, it’s crafted to meet International Ski Federation standards and excels on groomed slopes and racecourses.
At 170 cm, the Bloodline features a 30 m radius, giving it stability in long, sweeping arcs while still offering responsiveness when you set an edge. Its sidecut—89 mm tip, 63 mm waist and 77 mm tail—strikes a balance between quick turn initiation and solid edge hold through the finish. The flat mounting plate lets you choose and position your own bindings, so you can fine-tune stance and release characteristics to match your skiing style.
The 30 m radius refers to the curvature of the ski’s edge: a larger radius creates longer, more stable turns at speed, while a smaller radius would be twitchier. Sidecut dimensions (tip/waist/tail) describe how narrow the ski is underfoot compared to the ends, affecting how easily it bends into a turn and how firmly it grips the snow.
