Description

Traditional methods of lubricating bullets by applying lube only to the grooves are outdated compared to modern techniques like coating the entire bullet with Lee liquid alox. This method ensures that the lubricant is applied where it’s needed most, on the surfaces that rub against the bore, enhancing performance. While lubrication is essential for all lead bullets, sizing isn’t always necessary unless the bullets are too large, causing excessive case expansion in the chamber. Sizing can also improve accuracy by ensuring uniform diameter, leading to consistent start pressure and better overall performance. Additionally, gas checks can be easily installed using a specialized tool by placing them on the base of the bullet before sizing.
