The 3L Ortler Jacket from Ortovox is a men’s hardshell ski jacket designed for hitting the slopes in variable mountain conditions. It sits in the short jacket category, offering a streamlined cut without added insulation, so you can layer according to the weather and activity level.

Built as an unlined three-layer shell, the Ortler Jacket resists wind and moisture while letting perspiration escape. The shorter fit keeps bulk to a minimum, promoting a full range of motion for carving turns or hiking uphill. Because there’s no inner padding, you choose your own mid-layers—whether it’s a merino sweater or a puffy jacket—depending on how cold it gets.

In three-layer construction, a waterproof-breathable membrane is bonded between the outer fabric and an inner protective layer.
