Description
The Ortovox 3L Ortler Pants are a pair of hardshell ski trousers for men, made to keep you moving and dry during winter outings in the mountains.
Made from 100% polyamide with Dermizax® NX and a DWR finish, they stand up to snow and showers while holding up to abrasion. The regular fit leaves room for a mid-layer underneath without feeling bulky, and the PFC-free treatment is part of Ortovox’s push to cut out harmful chemicals. With production in Europe certified by the Fair Wear Foundation and backed by the Ortovox Wool Promise, these pants cover both performance and ethical considerations.
Dermizax® NX is a membrane that’s directly bonded to the fabric, giving it waterproof and breathable properties along with some flexibility for easier movement. The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating makes water bead up on the surface, so moisture won’t saturate the outer layer and you stay comfortable on longer days in changing weather.

For the MERINO NAKED SHEEP line we’ve concentrated on the essentials: Low weight, optimum protection and ample comfort. These hardshell pants are lightweight and technically sophisticated, yet robust and comfortable. The DERMIZAX® NX membrane from Toray – the most high-performance membrane that we use – ensures the jacket is windproof, waterproof and breathable. For protection on demanding tours, these shorts feature integrated, adjustable gaiters and Cordura protection against sharp edges. Adjustable ankle cuffs and an adjustable waistband allow for an easy fit, while merino-mix inserts in the waistband area provide comfort. Thanks to full-length 2-way side zippers, these 3-layer pants can be quickly put on or taken off.
