With high damping, the Pulsar Trail offers ample shock absorption to help reduce fatigue over long distances. Despite the generous cushioning, it weighs just 280 grams per shoe, so your legs won’t feel bogged down on steeper climbs or fast descents. The 2.5 mm lug depth grips soft dirt and gravel, giving you confidence on slippery or loose surfaces.
The stack height—32 mm under the heel and 26 mm under the forefoot—refers to the thickness of the midsole cushioning. A higher stack height generally means more comfort and protection from rocks and roots, while the 4 mm difference between heel and toe provides a slight heel-to-toe drop that promotes a natural running stride. Lug depth (2.5 mm) indicates how deep the tread bites into the ground, balancing grip with flexibility so you can feel the trail without losing traction.
