AquaShield is a thin membrane bonded inside the fabric that prevents water droplets from penetrating the outer layer while still allowing heat and perspiration to escape. In practice, this means the pants block sleet and slush from getting in but won’t leave kids feeling clammy by trapping sweat against their skin.
