Description
The Black Crows Ferox Freebird 22/23 is a freeride lightweight ski crafted for off-piste adventures, giving you a reliable tool for both skinning up and descending varied mountain terrain.
Weighing 1.8 kg per ski, the Ferox Freebird keeps things light on uphill stretches but still feels sturdy when you point downhill. Its flat mounting plate offers full flexibility to choose or fine-tune your binding setup, while a wider tip and tail combined with a narrower waist deliver the right mix of float in soft snow and nimble turn initiation.
The ski’s 21 m radius refers to the curvature of its edge: a longer radius produces smoother, sweeping turns and added stability at speed. Sidecut dimensions—136 mm at the tip, 110 mm at the waist and 126 mm at the tail—mean the ski narrows in the middle to help you change edges quickly, yet maintains enough surface area up front and behind to stay afloat in deeper snow.

The Ferox Freebird was born out of the need to offer a double-rockered, powder-oriented touring ski that still has an efficient grip.
