Description

The Black Crows Navis Freebird is a ski built for those who want to climb under their own power and still have fun on the way down. It’s a true tour-freeride model, aimed at anyone who spends as much time skinning uphill as they do hunting fresh lines in the backcountry.

In its 179cm length, the Navis Freebird offers a 102mm waist that balances float in softer snow with nimble edge hold on firmer terrain, while its 19m radius keeps turns predictable without feeling sluggish. The flat binding mount means you can choose your own touring binding and position it exactly where you like for the best balance between uphill efficiency and downhill control.

The 19m radius is simply the curve of the ski’s sidecut—think of it as the size of the turn it naturally wants to carve. Its 138/102/119 shape (tip/waist/tail) gives a wider nose to help you stay on top of powder, a slimmed-down middle for cleaner edge contact, and a tapered tail for smooth release. At 1.75kg per ski, it sits right at the edge of the all-round freeride weight category, offering a solid feel on descents without being a burden on long climbs.
