The Elan Ripstick Tour 88 is the ski that the touring world has been waiting for. Lightweight, floaty, fast, stable, strong, and versatile – all at the same time. Designed with our freeride athletes and guides that demand perfection everywhere they go, it’s ground-breaking construction has allowed us to drop the weight to a minimum and push performance to the maximum, while maintaining a playful feel for all aspects of the journey. This 88mm waisted ski is very light and easy to maneuver, yet deftly capable, making it a true modern touring ski.

The free touring segment is the trend in alpinism; combining light equipment that performs in powder and remains stable in variable conditions is essential. The Ripstick Tour 88 is the perfect waist to feel confident on descents and narrow enough to enjoy comfortable, long uphill ascents, making it the sweet spot for touring skis. At approximately 1250 g per ski in length 170 cm we’ve targeted the optimal weight for a touring ski, without sacrificing downhill stability and performance. When paired with the 305 g C-RAIDER tech binding and Ripstick Tour 88 skin, there is a complete, lightweight package, that will perform and inspire. With carefully designed CARBON BRIDGE TECHNOLOGY, we implemented a carbon rod reinforcement to connect the energy of the ski for a smooth feel with playful rebound. The length of the reinforcement is designed to exact measures to reduce vibration and tip chatter. A reduced sidewall shape gives the ski a unique look with functional weight reduction, while full sidewalls increase edge pressure and contact.

Mit ihnen haben wir diese bahnbrechende Konstruktion entwickelt, die es uns ermöglicht, das Gewicht auf ein Minimum zu reduzieren und gleichzeitig die Perfomance auf ein Maximum hochzuschrauben. Trotzdem bleibt der Ski spielerisch und vielseitig für jedes Gelände einsetzbar. Mit einer Mittelbreite von 88 mm ist er sehr leicht und einfach zu fahren. Das macht ihn zu einem hochmodernen Tourenski.
