The MMS (Modular Mounting System) was designed to allow the user to configure their firearm to fit their needs. The core of the MMS is a lightweight MLOK handguard with a free-float design that allows the user to build upon that with optic mounts, gas tubes, accessories, etc. Weve continued to innovate and create new options for the MMS and the Rigid Mount is no different.
The MMS Rigid Mount is a fully user-configurable way to add rigidity to the lightweight MMS handguard. The Rigid Mount can be placed anywhere along the barrel using any of the available MLOK slots and creates a fixed mounting position to increase the rigidity of the MMS handguard. This can be used to mount lasers closer to the muzzle and will allow the device to retain zero. This is only one example of what the Rigid Mount can be used for. The application possibilities are endless.
The Rigid Mount replaces the MLOK T-Nut hardware and can be installed using most standard MLOK accessories. We recommend utilizing our RC-QD on one side, and a aluminum 1913 rail section on the other.
